Beautiful, patterned glass like this immediately brings back memories of holiday tables, dessert plates stacked beside the coffee pot, and cabinets filled with sparkling glass saved for company. This vintage KIG Indonesia pressed glass plate has a beautiful geometric design inspired by much older American Brilliant style cut glass patterns. The center features a bold hobstar surrounded by diamond and fan-style detailing that catches the light from every angle. Even though it was made decades later, it still has that classic vintage elegance people love. A lovely vintage piece that fits beautifully into cottage, farmhouse, traditional, or vintage-inspired decor.
The plate measures 6 inches in diameter, making it a wonderful size for desserts, bread and butter service, candy, small pastries, or simply displayed in a china cabinet or glass collection.
The rim is embossed “KIG Indonesia,” dating the piece to the late 20th century when Indonesian glassmakers were producing decorative pressed glass for export markets.
Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. The glass remains clear and bright with crisp pattern detail throughout.
