This is a set of four Homer Laughlin Golden Wheat fruit bowls, made in the USA and trimmed in 22K gold. The warm wheat design and soft ivory coloring give them that classic farmhouse warmth that worked in kitchens for decades. Homer Laughlin’s Golden Wheat pattern fruit bowls feels like the kind of china that sat on the table after supper holding peaches, pudding, berries, or a scoop of ice cream while everyone lingered a little longer at the kitchen table.
These bowls are in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The gold trim shows little to no wear, especially nice for pieces that were meant to be everyday tableware.
Only one bowl retains the original backstamp, which is normal for many vintage American china patterns. Homer Laughlin frequently marked only part of a set or selected production runs, so it is not unusual to find matching pieces with only one marked example.
