History & Age
Double Gold was released by Bang Records in 1973 and features many of Neil Diamond's early hits recorded during his Bang Records years. The album became a popular introduction to Diamond's music by gathering his best-known songs into a convenient double LP collection. Today it remains a favorite among collectors of classic rock, folk rock, and singer-songwriter recordings from the late 1960s and early 1970s.
