This is a set of two Anchor Hocking Wexford water goblets. The Wexford pattern was introduced in 1967 and became one of Anchor Hocking's most popular glass patterns. The diamond point design gives the appearance of cut crystal while remaining durable enough for everyday use. These goblets stand 6â…ť inches tall and would work well as replacement pieces for an existing Wexford collection or for anyone who enjoys vintage American glassware.

History:
Anchor Hocking introduced the Wexford pattern in 1967. It was made as a pressed glass pattern with a diamond-point design that gave buyers the look of cut crystal at a much lower price. Wexford became one of Anchor Hocking’s most widely recognized patterns and stayed in production for decades, into the late 1990s. The line included stemware, bowls, serving pieces, plates, cups, candleholders, and other tableware pieces. This was practical household glass, not fine crystal. It was made for everyday American homes, wedding gifts, holiday tables, and replacement pieces. Because so much of it was produced, Wexford is still easy to find today, but clean matching pieces are still useful for people trying to complete or replace part of a set.
