Farewell Andromeda (Welcome to My Morning) was released in 1973 on RCA Records. It was John Denver's eighth studio album, arriving after the enormous success of Rocky Mountain High. By 1973, Denver had become one of America's most recognizable singer-songwriters, known for blending folk, country, and soft rock with themes of nature, family, and simple living. Unlike some of his earlier albums, Farewell Andromeda is more reflective and philosophical.
