This vintage Anchor Hocking Savannah pedestal cake plate has the simple floral pattern that made the line popular and still looks just as nice on today's table as it did years ago. Whether it's used for a birthday cake, holiday cookies, pie, or fresh fruit, it's a piece that doesn't have to stay tucked away in a cabinet.
The cake plate measures approximately 12 inches in diameter and stands 4 inches tall.
It is in very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The glass is clear and bright. The original adhesive between the plate and pedestal has yellowed with age, which is common on these stands, but the pedestal remains secure. Please look carefully at all of the photographs as they are part of the description.

History
Anchor Hocking introduced the Savannah pattern in the early 1980s. The delicate flowers, vines, and scalloped edge gave the pattern an elegant look without making it too formal, which is one reason it became so popular for everyday entertaining. More than forty years later, the Savannah pattern is still collected and enjoyed by people who appreciate practical American glassware that was made to be used.
