History
Precious Moments was created by artist Sam Butcher, whose heartwarming teardrop-eyed children first appeared on inspirational greeting cards in the early 1970s. In 1978, Enesco introduced the figurines, and they quickly became one of America's most popular collectible porcelain lines. "Ring Out The Good News" (Item 529966) was introduced in 1993 as part of the Precious Moments Nativity Series. The figurine portrays a young girl ringing a bell while holding her beloved doll, representing the joyful proclamation of Christ's birth.
