Department 56 introduced the Snowbunnies collection in 1994 as a springtime companion to its popular Snowbabies line. While Snowbabies celebrated winter adventures, Snowbunnies focused on Easter and the arrival of spring, featuring children dressed in bunny suits with rabbits, eggs, flowers, and other seasonal themes. "Help Me Hide the Eggs" was one of the original releases in the Springtime Stories of Snowbunnies series. Introduced in May 1994 and retired in April 1996, it had a relatively short production run, making it a favorite among collectors who enjoy completing the early Snowbunnies series.
