A tiny bear with three tiny cupcakes for a very special third birthday. This Cherished Teddies figurine is “Three Cheers For You,” the Age 3 bear from the Through the Years birthday series. Designed by Priscilla Hillman and copyrighted 1992, the little bear sits behind a rustic table holding three frosted cupcakes, each topped with a miniature candle. A sweet addition to a Cherished Teddies collection and especially fitting as a third-birthday keepsake, cake-table decoration or small gift for someone celebrating a little one's third birthday.

At only about 2½ inches tall, there is an amazing amount of detail packed into this little figurine—from the textured fur and pink paw pads to the dotted neck scarf, wood-grain table and those three remarkably small cupcakes.

“Three Cheers For You” was created by artist and designer Priscilla Hillman as part of the Cherished Teddies "Through the Years" birthday series. The collection featured individual teddy bear figurines representing different childhood ages, with each design incorporating its age into the bear's theme and sentiment. This Age 3 figurine was issued in 1992 and carries the Hamilton Gifts license on its base along with model number 911313. Its birthday theme is cleverly worked into the design with three individual cupcakes and the title “Three Cheers For You.” Cherished Teddies became especially popular during the great collectible-figurine boom of the 1990s. Priscilla Hillman's bears were known for their nostalgic appearance, detailed sculpting and sentimental themes centered around birthdays, holidays, friendship and family.
