Original 1974 Motown three-record anthology featuring 35 recordings from Diana Ross and The Supremes. This is the complete set with all three vinyl records, all three inner sleeves and the original illustrated history booklet. The records are housed in the unusual silver tri-fold cover featuring portraits and photographs of Diana Ross, Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard.

The collection includes many of The Supremes' best-known recordings, including Where Did Our Love Go, Baby Love, Come See About Me, Stop! In the Name of Love, Back in My Arms Again, I Hear a Symphony, You Can't Hurry Love, You Keep Me Hangin' On, Reflections, Love Child and Someday We'll Be Together.

The silver tri-fold cover opens and closes properly and has no splits. It shows edge and corner wear, rubbing and light yellowing consistent with age.

All three original inner sleeves are present. They have light age yellowing with no splits.

The original illustrated history booklet is intact with no missing pages, folds or bends.
Vinyl:
All three vinyl records retain a glossy surface and show only light surface scratches. Please see photos for the overall condition and details.

History:
Released by Motown in May 1974, Anthology was an unusually extensive retrospective of Diana Ross and The Supremes. Rather than concentrating only on the group's biggest singles, Motown assembled a 35-track, three-LP collection that followed their recording career from the early sessions through the enormous run of hits that made The Supremes one of the defining American vocal groups of the 1960s. The collection includes all 27 of the group's R&B chart hits recorded between 1962 and 1969 and 28 of their 30 pop-chart entries from that period. Along with the familiar Motown hits, the set includes selections showing the group's ventures into British pop, country, standards and musical theater.
