Antique Clear Glass Cruet with Stopper, Handled Vinegar Oil Bottle, c 1900-1925

Antique clear glass table cruet dating approximately 1900–1925, complete with a fitted glass stopper. The cruet has a clean, understated design with a rounded body, narrow neck, curved glass handle and gently flared pouring spout. Two narrow raised bands circle the neck. The large pointed and faceted stopper gives an otherwise restrained piece much of its character. Cruets like this were used at the table for vinegar, oil and other liquid condiments. The maker and pattern are unknown.
Condition:
The cruet itself is in very good antique condition. The glass remains clear with no chips or cracks, and the handle and pouring spout are intact. The glass stopper has a small chip along the upper portion. It is not sharp and is difficult to notice when the stopper is in place.

6½ inches high with stopper
2¾ inches diameter
