A wonderful hardcover fiction novel by Merle Colby. It doesn't have a dust jacket. It is entitled The Big Secret and is about political intrigue and atomic research fiction.
Daniel Upstead comes to Washington from college to attend a scientific conference. There he runs into The Stamp 'Secret,' and stays to fight a single-handed battle against the sinister interests threatening to hamstring atomic research.
The late Merle Colby a native of Lodi, Wis, was a Washington Relations officer.
