A gorgeous antique cake plate by Rosenthal. The shape is Versailles and its pattern is called Portrait From Rembrandt. There is an image of Rembrandt in the center of the plate, blue inserts around the edge and trimmed with gold. This is a hard to find plate there are not many of these to be found. A perfect find for the collector.

The cake plate is in great condition. There are no cracks or crazing. It has a small minor chip (See Photo 5). This chip does not detract from the beauty of this plate. There is also rubbing to the gold which is to be expected from a plate of this age. The back stamp indicates the maker to be RC Rosenthal Versailles circa. 1891-1906
It would make a great housewarming, hostess, wedding, shower, or holiday gift. A great piece to add to your collection.
