A wonderful hardcover first edition fictional western novel Lost Canyon by Clinton Dangerfield. Its dust jacket is unfortunately glued to the inside cover of the book.
An adventure packed romance of an old-fashioned cowboy and a modern girl in the New West.
Ella Howard Bryan wrote poems, short stories, and novels under the name Clinton Dangerfield. She was born in Savannah, Georgia, on February 19, 1872. Ella was educated at home and spent her childhood on her mother's homeplace on Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. In 1901 when she published her first story, "Behind the Veil." The story proved such a success that Ella returned to her home and assumed a new career as a writer and the name Clinton Dangerfield. Her choice of a manly-sounding pseudonym would prove helpful in her career as a fictional writer. She died February 13, 1954.

This book is in Used but Acceptable (Fair) condition. The pages are yellowed with age. The dust cover is ripped and torn and glued to the inside cover of the book. The binding is very tight and solid. There is writing on the inside front cover of the book.
