A wonderful toy doctor's kit from FAO Schwarz. The box is a very bright red with FAO on the outside and divided into 2 sections on the inside. Included in the kit is a white doctor's jacket with FAO printed in red and a stethoscope. What a perfect gift idea for a child or as a collectible.
FAO Schwarz was founded in 1862. It was during its day the oldest toy store in the United States. The company was known for its unique high-end toys, life-sized stuffed animals, dolls, and games. Their flagship store was on Fifth Avenue in New York City and it was a popular tourist destination. It was noted for its floor piano and cameos in major motion pictures. The store closed in July 2015.

The box is in very good condition. It has the usual nicks in the paint from age and being used. The jacket is bright and white, it does have a slight smell of moth balls from being in storage and will need to be laundered.
