A wonderful Poster of Whiteface Mountain, New York. This large poster was taken for the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. It was sold in many shops there. This color photography poster shows the mountain off at its majestic best. The image is so sharp you can see the skiers on the trails. A perfect gift idea for the downhill skier. My husband was happy to get the poster of Whiteface. We had seen the poster at a restaurant in Lake Placid, NY during a recent ski trip. He liked it so much that I was determined to find him a copy. Luckily for me, I was able to locate a copy on Etsy. The poster came packaged very nicely in plastic within a poster tube. It included a very nice thank you note from the seller to include a bit of history of the photo. I thought that was a really nice touch and that it went the extra mile. I would order from MountainAireVintage again.
