A hardcover fictional novel by John O'Hara. It is entitled From The Terrace. This is a 1958 Edition Second Printing. The book's hardcover is blue cloth with title in gold on the spine and a copy of the author's signature on the front. This was made into a movie in 1960.
Emotionally stunted by a cold father, Alfred Eaton fails to do the difficult things necessary to establish loving relationships of his own. Because he fails to make timely decisions and act on his own he winds up a middle aged man with comfortable material resources but no meaningful vocation and an increasingly problematic marriage with a woman he truly loves.
John O'Hara (1905 - 1970), was an American writer. He first earned a reputation for short stories and later became a best-selling novelist before the age of thirty with Appointment in Samarra and Butterfield 8.

This book is in Used but in Good condition. The book has no rips or tears. The binding is completely intact but loose on the back cover. The pages are slightly yellowed with age. Previous owners signature is on the inside front flyleaf.
