This is a gorgeous lidded sugar bowl by Canonsburg China. The pattern is called Golden Fragrance and consist of a lovely floral bouquet and gold filigree. This sugar bowl is a hard to find item. It is a very light cream color. A beautiful addition to that morning coffee, afternoon tea, or anytime.

Canonsburg China Company was founded in 1900 by John George. In 1909, the name was changed to Canonsburg Pottery Company. The company produced its pottery in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. It remained in the George family until 1975, when it was sold to Angelo Falconi. It closed in 1978. Canonsburg Pottery is perhaps best known for its decaled dinnerware.

This sugar bowl is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. This is amazing considering its age. This was made Circa: 1940s

Even though this is a sugar bowl it is cute enough to be used for a variety of purposes. A dainty candy dish, a trinket holder, or to hold a number of different small items.
