Herbert George Wells (September 1866 – August 1946) and usually referred to as H. G. Wells was an English writer. He was prolific in many genres, including the novel, history, politics, social commentary, textbooks and rules for war games. Wells is now best remembered for his science fiction novels and is called a "father of science fiction". A futurist, his works predicted the airplane, tank, space travel, nuclear weapons, satellite television and the world wide web. His fiction imagined time travel, alien invasion, invisibility, and biological engineering. He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature four times.

This book is in Used but in Good condition. The book has no rips or tears. The binding is completely intact and strong. The front and back cover boards are sun faded with slight staining. The pages are yellowed which is normal with a book of this age.
