This is a gorgeous footed cup and saucer. Made by Minton (Royal Doulton) in the Grosvenor pattern. The cup and saucer are ivory with a green band and gold floral filigree. There is also gold on the handle, foot, and rim of the cup as well as the rim of the saucer. This set would be a great way to serve coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Perfect for the teacup collector.
Minton China Company was started in 1793. It started producing bone china in 1799. The founder of the company was Thomas Minton. Minton China today is owned by WWRD Holdings Limited. It also produces other china brands including Wedgwood, Royal Albert, Royal Doulton and Johnson Brothers.

The cup and saucer are in excellent condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. The gold shows no wear. The set shows little or no use.
