A gorgeous set of four antique chocolate cups and saucers by Noritake. They are marked Nippon and have the letter 'M' encircled by a wreath which represents Morimura.The pattern of blue flowers and red berries with gold gilt against a white base. What a wonderful way to serve chocolate or espresso coffee. These would add a fantastic touch of elegance to any dining table. This set dates from circa 1910s. What a wonderful way to bring the sophistication of bygone days to your home.
A demitasse is a small cup used to serve Turkish coffee or espresso. Demitasse is the French word for half cup.

These cups and saucers are in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. They do have some wear on the gold trim. The white porcelain is clean and bright but does have marks on them from the manufacturing process. These are fine bone china and are thin, light is easily seen through them.
A great gift for someone who has a love of antique china. Perfect item for a collector of fine antique china. A fantastic gift for a wedding, holiday, or special occasion.
