Teacup and Saucer, E B Foley, Bone China, England, Fine Bone China, Floral Pattern, Red and White, Gold Trim
A gorgeous fine bone china teacup and saucer by E B Foley made in England. This is a discontinued item and very rare. The pattern is bouquets of flowers, a red band, gold paisley pattern, and gold trim. The saucer is scalloped with the same lovely designs. This would be a fantastic addition to any teacup collection.
Foley bone china was first produced in 1872 at the Foley Pottery in Fenton, England by Wileman and Company. Sometime after 1881, the Foley potteries were run by another company, Robinson and Sons. Elijah Brain took over the Foley China Works from Robinson & Son in 1885 but continued to use the mark of "Robinson & Son" until 1903 when they used their own mark.
