A beautiful porcelain trinket box made for Wales Importers. The pattern is pink roses and gold trim. On the lid is one large raised rose and there is a small raised rose on the front of the box. This is hand painted with gold trim. A perfect dish to store rings and things. It would also make a great candy dish or nut bowl. This would be stunning on any dresser, end table, or coffee table. Perfect in the kitchen for rings when doing dishes or other chores.
The New York Merchandise Co., Inc. was a company which imported and distributed ready-made items from various unnamed manufacturers located in Japan. They specialized in tableware, miniature tea sets, and figurines, re-selling them under their WALES CHINA brand.
