A wonderful children's hardcover book called So Many Cats by Beatrice Schenk de Regniers. This is a counting story in verse and shows how easily one sad and lonely cat can turn into twelve. This book can be used for a literature-based math book. Young children can count the cats along with the reading. Also, this book contains many rhyming words in order to help children's reading.
Beatrice Schenk de Regniers (1914—2000) was an American writer of children's picture books. She wrote over fifty books.

This book is used and in good condition. The binding is tight. There are no marks on any of the pages. The covers of the book is stained but covered with the plastic library dust cover. The book shows the usual shelf wear especially on the edges.
