A wonderful children's first edition hardcover book called Dipsy Donkey by Johnnie Laurence. This fictional book is great fun and a perfect story for young children. The illustrations are wonderful.
Cute story about a donkey that lives on a family farm with a little boy and girl. Something exciting is happening on the farm. Several farm animals have come by Dipsy and bragged about how well they are going to do at the local fair that is coming up. Poor Dipsy has never been to a fair, he doesn't even know what it is. He wants to go too and wants to win a blue ribbon.
Johnnie Laurence was a writer and illustrator.

This book is in Good condition. Binding is tight but does have some pull marks where the back cover attaches. The pages are yellowed with age but all are clean. There is an inscription on the front flyleaf.
