Hot Wheels, 1968 Hot Wheels Redlines, Hot Heap, Copper, Die Cast Metal, Collectible Toy Car, Toy Car

A redline Hot Wheels Hot Heap in the uncommon copper color is part of the "Sweet Sixteen" group. The Hot Wheels Hot Heap is of the the very first year Hot Wheels were produced. All the wheels spin and are functional. It's not restored in any way and would be a great gift for the collector or child.

The Hot Heap is a hot-rod Ford Model T roadster that was based on a California full-fendered roadster named "Tognotti's T".

The Hot Heap was made from 1968 to 1971 in both the Hong Kong and U.S. factories. All US-made Hot Heaps have a clear windshield, and the steering wheel is a molded part of the interior.

A dead giveaway that a Hot Wheels car is vintage is a distinctive red stripe that circumscribes the hubcaps on the car. The revered first-generation Hot Wheels toys were distinctive for their metallic appearance.

This car is in good condition for a used hot wheel of this age. There are some paint chips. Please check the photos.
