A hardcover classic book entitled Nemesis by Agatha Christie. The cover boards green and black striped with the title on the spine in black on green. This is a Miss Marple Novel.

In utter disbelief, Miss Marple read the letter addressed to her from the recently deceased Mr. Rafiel – an acquaintance she had met briefly on her travels. Recognizing in Miss Marple a natural flair for justice, Mr. Rafiel had left instructions for her to investigate a crime after his death. The only problem was, he had failed to tell her who was involved or where and when the crime had been committed.

Dame Agatha Mary Clarissa Christie, Lady Mallowan, DBE (1890 – 1976) was an English writer. She is known for her 66 detective novels and 14 short story collections, particularly those revolving around her fictional detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Christie also wrote the world's longest-running play, a murder mystery, The Mousetrap, and six romances under the name Mary Westmacott. In 1971 she was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for her contribution to literature.

This book is in Used but in Good condition. It has no rips or tears. The book's pages are slightly foxed (yellowed) with age and it does have some staining. There is a mark on the inside front flyleaf which consists of a handwritten R in a circle. The dust cover is encased in plastic and the plastic is worn. There is also quite a bit of shelf wear on the bottom of the covers. Our price reflects these imperfections.
