An antique porcelain chamber pot by John Maddock & Sons. It is white ironstone with an ornate handle. A chamber pot (also called a Thunder Pot or Potty) is a bowl-shaped container with one handle. Some have a lid and some do not. They were kept in the bedroom under the bed or in a nightstand cabinet and used as a toilet at night. Today they are a great addition to your bathroom or bedroom decor. They also can be used as a unique planter.

This chamber pot is in great condition. There are no chips or cracks. It does have three manufacture marks in the bottom of the bowl and it does have some crazing on the bottom and on the inside.
This would be perfect for a collector or as a display piece.
