Antique Footed Glass Creamer, Indiana Glass, Wheel Cut Floral, Heavy Glass, Pitcher, Jug

A beautiful antique footed glass creamer by Indiana Glass. The pattern consists of a wheel cut flower, one on each side. This would be a great small jug for honey, syrup, or cream. A perfect creamer for your table, buffet, or sideboard. Because this is heavy glass it is a great everyday creamer.

Indiana Glass Company was founded by George Brady and James Beaty in 1896. The company made kerosene lamp bases, lamp chimneys and tableware. In 1899, the company was taken over by the National Glass Company which went bankrupt in 1908. Indiana Glass Company was reorganized with Frank Merry becoming President and principal shareholder. The plant continued to make tableware and decorative glass until 2002, when production was shut down. It was likely the longest continuously operating glass plant of its type in the state.

Size:
4 inches in height
3 inches in diameter
5 inches from handle to spout

This creamer is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs.
